The philosophy of Kintsugi

In Japan, if someone breaks some pottery by mistake, they mend it by fixing the area of breakage with some liquid solution made with mixed gold, silver, or platinum and lacquer. It even more enhances the beauty of the article and makes it stronger. This art form is called kintsugi.

The philosophy behind the Kintsugi is that in life we may meet with some misfortune, ill luck, and adversity, but that is not the end of life. If we gather all our broken pieces and put them together, we may create a masterpiece!

It tells us that broken things cannot be inherently broken and declared worthless. The cracks and the lines are just a symbol of the past and history, and they are also a sign of joining two damaged parts together!
